This vigorous, fast-growing plant spreads by underground runners, so it makes an excellent privacy screen or sound barrier, growing up to 15 ft. high. Plan to contain the roots with barriers or dry areas, or plant in a pot, because it will spread indefinitely. Golden Bamboo is strong and resilient, withstanding drought, heat, and cold. Its dense, dark green branches and brilliant golden canes add beauty to the landscape year round.
