This deciduous shrub/tree puts on a show of color throughout each season with fluffy, crepe paper textured flowers. These show-stopping blooms, in colors such as pink, white, red, or lavender, last from July to September. New leaves begin with a deep red color and turn to glossy dark green. In the fall, the leaves turn to a beautiful maroon. Its beautifully mottled bark is attractive even when the leaves are gone, providing your garden with interest in the winter.

Growing to 15 feet high and 12 feet wide, this vigorous tree is drought tolerant and mildew and fire resistant.
