One of the smaller Japanese plum trees, this tree produces an abundance of juicy, red plums and also has ornamental features. It is a strong, fast-growing tree whose plums are ready to harvest from late June to mid-July – earlier than many other plum trees – following a blanketing of delicate white flowers. This tree grows up to 15 feet tall and about the same width, with a rounded habit. The plums are medium-large, deliciously juicy, and have bright red skin and amber flesh with red highlights.
