This hardy perennial ground cover grows low, spreading along the ground to make an excellent ground cover. It grows up to 2 ft. tall and can spread from 6 to 8 feet. Its long, needle-like leaves are silvery green, and they produce the classic aroma of the herb rosemary. Plenty of lavender blue flowers bloom occasionally throughout the year, and are also fragrant. Rosemary makes an excellent border and performs well in rock gardens, large containers, and hanging baskets.
