This award winning ground cover forms a low mound covered with deep red, velvety blooms with yellow centers, atop glossy green leaves. The single roses appear in clusters and bloom from spring until winter. The foliage is red-tinted at first, then turning to a deep green with dark-red edges. It is trailing, creeping, and vigorous, making it an excellent filler plant on banks, slopes, and wherever you need erosion control. It also makes a beautiful edge along a sidewalk or driveway, and shines in containers, where it can double as a patio tree.
