Snapdragons come in almost every color, from soft pastel to bold and bright, with some being bi-colored. Flowers cover the snapdragon’s vertical spikes, which range from 6 to 48 inches tall, depending on the variety. The flowers open gradually from the bottom to the top, blooming most profusely in full sun or partial shade. Planting in partial shade will help them last better through the summer heat. Dwarf varieties are dense and bushy with plenty of flowers.
