When most other plants have stopped flowering, the Valentine Bush begins to add brilliant color to your winter garden. This lush evergreen shrub produces masses of hot-pink to red tubular flowers beginning around Christmas and lasting until early spring, with the blooms reach their peak just in time for Valentine's Day. Its small, deep green leaves also take on a red hue as the weather cools. This shrub’s natural shape is attractive, but it also takes well to pruning. Reaching from 3-5 ft. tall and 4-6 ft. wide, it likes full sun and is drought tolerant.
