This deciduous tree produces large white fruit that is very sweet, without tartness, and grows fat and juicy as it ripens in early to mid-summer.  Some call the fruit a superfood, due to its high level of antioxidants. It is also known as the preferred feed for silk worms. This tree grows 30-35 ft. tall, spreads 35-40 ft., and is drought and pollution tolerant.  It is also known for having the fastest known movement in the plant kingdom, as it releases its pollen at approximately 350 miles per hour.
