This tree is good for larger landscapes, growing 30 ft. tall or more, with wide spreading branches of 30 – 75 ft. Its graceful form provides beauty as well as excellent shade and an abundance of sweet pecans. The leaves are 12-18 inches long with many leaflets and they turn yellow green in summer, and later yellow brown in the fall. Insignificant flowers appear from April through May and the pecans ripen in September and October. This tree is also drought tolerant.
